Join us for one hour of instructor-led writing time.
Get your thoughts out and down on the page, create a story to share with others, or escape into your own imaginative world. The choice is yours!
Each week, we provide three timed prompts based on a different theme. We leave time at the end of class to share your work if you choose.
Research shows that daily writing has a multitude of benefits, and we provide the time, space, and support to reap those benefits.
All proceeds support our community outreach programs.

This is my favorite hour of the week. There’s something so magical about the freedom of writing and sharing in the moment, and the community here is always so inspiring and supportive. We’re deeply connected through storytelling. I care so much about these writers, and so many of us have seen publishing success from pieces started in this space. It’s just incredible.
Lisa Hartsgrove is program coordinator & writing instructor for Project Write Now. She is also program manager for PWN Teen, the teen division of Project Write Now. She has an M.F.A. in creative writing from Goddard College and a B.A. in English from Montclair State University. Lisa encourages writers to be confident in their work, believing that we all have a story to tell and we all have the right to be heard. She loves storytelling in all forms, including visual art.
