Creative Writing Intensive – Fall ’26
Workshop Your Writing. Deepen Your Craft.
Are you working on a piece of writing that needs a dedicated community to push it forward? Do you want feedback that meets you where you are— whether you’re writing memoir or fiction?
This six-week intensive provides a structured, supportive space to workshop your writing tailored to your specific needs. Whether you’re developing a personal narrative or a work of fiction, we focus on your strengths while helping you deepen your craft—working with voice, structure, imagery, and characterization to bring your stories to life. We read mentor texts across genres to analyze how writers make their choices, and we dig into the joy of giving and receiving meaningful feedback.
Is this class right for you?
This intensive is designed for writers who have workshopped before and are comfortable both offering thoughtful feedback and receiving it in return. We ask that everyone request approval before enrolling. Email pwnwriters@projectwritenow.org to tell us a bit about your project and your workshop experience, and we’ll follow up to confirm your spot.

Jennifer Gallo Gaites is working on a novel and writes essays about identity and motherhood. Her work has been published in Riverteeth’s “Beautiful Things,” WOW Women on Writing, Hippocampus, and Literary Mama. When she’s not reading or writing, she’s either asking her college-aged kids too many questions or trying to understand her middle-schooler’s obsession with YouTube. She lives in Fair Haven, NJ, with her husband, three children, and their poorly trained dog, Gus.
