Book Revision Lab 2027

Join fellow writers in a structured program that combines expert guidance, peer feedback, and proven revision techniques to unlock your book’s full potential.

Is your memoir or novel manuscript finished but not quite ready for the world? What if the difference between a good draft and a great book comes down to how you revise it?

Book Revision Lab is a four-month revision program for writers ready to revise their memoir or novel manuscripts. With a focus on community, the Book Revision Lab offers feedback, support, and guidance, enabling writers to explore and realize their book’s artistic and commercial potential.

You must apply and be accepted to register. For more information about how to apply and for specific class dates, visit book inc.

The program meets from 7 to 9 p.m. ET / 4 to 6 p.m. PT every other Thursday from March 11 to June 17, 2027.

Cost & Payment

Tuition is $550. Registrants can pay in full or register using coupon code PAYPLAN; PWN will then send an invoice and a payment schedule. Please note: a small administrative fee will be added to installment payments.

Your registration will not be considered complete until your payment, payment plan, or scholarship seat has been confirmed.

Combine & Save

Pair Book Revision Lab with Story Lab in The Full Revision Path, a connected journey from structural diagnosis to chapter-by-chapter execution, guided by two distinct rounds of expert feedback. Learn more here.

Project Write Now offers no refunds or credits once registered, except in the unfortunate case a class or event is cancelled. We reserve the right to change instructors if necessary. We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule any class, workshop, or event because of low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us at info@projectwritenow.org or call 908.675.0467 for more information. Please note that when you register for a class you are reserving one of a limited number of spots available. Your registration also counts toward our consideration of class minimums.

Our organization was founded to help amplify the voices of those who are often not heard—including Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQIA+ individuals, and other historically marginalized groups. We have witnessed how writing and sharing stories has the power to effect change by generating greater love, compassion, and empathy in the listener. In all of our programs, we provide an inclusive, supportive, and welcoming environment. We do not tolerate writing and/or behavior that perpetuates harmful stereotypes or fuels hate. Failure to align with our philosophy can result in your removal from class.
